Not sure how music get classified in to different type, the one I like is not sound too congest, having space between instruments and sound airy, Rock and Rap is definitely no-go.

They will be my first serious speaks, I probably will stick with them until my ears got trained so they can pick an instrument from crow, I wish.

I've been to some Audio shop back like 5 or 6 years ago with one of audiophile colleague. Lack of passion for music when I was, couldn't tell better or worse from any two speakers where the price difference was less than 5 grand. Having been said that, I still want a pair of half decent speakers that have a relatively broader sound stage, a stable visual image, even better if it can reproduce a multi dimensional heartbreaking female vocal and violin. Am I asking too much fro 800 buck? They are going to be placed in a dedicated 12x12 listing room for now. Later I maybe will have an 11x20 home theatre in basement. No integrated amp yet. Just a 600-watt Yamaha receiver, but that can be replaced if it doesn’t match well with speakers, what is THE best speaker in that price range?更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

    本人入门初级，但也不想要太坏的箱子，考虑的几款，ENERGY C5/C7， MISSION M33/M34， STUDIOLAB REFERENCE 1，KEF Q3/Q5，还有那天在一家华人店看到的JAMO E855，在嘈杂的环境下听过C5， M34 和E855， 难以分辨好坏。JAMO 的样子很讨女人喜欢，不知道口碑怎么样，除此之外我还有哪些选择？
