        • I was shocked when I first time to watch this bomb and killing scene with the music! later on, I watch another war movie, also the killing scene with classic music, Schindler's List, I was shocked again!
          • you would not be shocked, but tortured, if you watch< A Clockwork Orange>.
            • somehow, the 70's movies are deeper thinkers, with all these movements at that time period, the human rights for blacks, for women, even someone consider the culture revolution is a part of these social movements
              • 3句话不离本行啊你 :D
              • yes, in music too. to quote a rock musician: "we thought we could change the world with our music, now we know that's no a realistic idea, but it is still a great idea"
                • great, so you are not only the fan for classic music, also the fan for all these pop things? all these rockers in 60's, 70's, even 80's might not change the whole world, at least they changed the music world.
                  • 受不了女儿的鄙视, 只好恶补摇滚
Actually i am a fan of anything that is interesting.
            • In the beginning I got nauseous at "A Clockwork Orange" , and later on, I fell in love with it, and agree that it is one of the greatest and profoundest movies in history, even though I don't have the guts to see it
              for the second time.
              • Hollywood has never and ever got the talent or inspiration to produce this type of philosophical mania.
                • Hollywood has Woody Allen, that's enough. :)
                  • Gee, you admire Woody Ellen. I can't believe it, come on. :)
                    • why not?
                      • Sorry but I always agree that North America is a desert of philosophy, arts and literature which are the bases of great movies. Woody is OK, but not that OK compared with those Brithish thinkers. Don't you think?
                        • He is not a philosopher, he is a comedian that thinks aloud. He is also a great short story writter.
                          • I feel that a great writer or comedian is made of philosophy. < A Clockwork Orange> was adapted from a novel, but that novel's writer is much deeper than Woody, a writer as well, in terms of creativity and profundity.
                  • hahah, somehow, you are wrong, the base camp for Woody Allen is New York, at least for his early age, he was the opposite of Hollywood
                    • Despite of his base or background, Woody is part, actually an essentially big part of Hollywood.
                    • If Hollywood is just LA, it would be a boring circle. Thank god because of New York, Hollywood is actually an elliptical, with Woody Allen, Meryl Streep etc...
                      • Right, Hollywood is not a georgraphical term at all, but actually the whole of United States of America.
                      • we may have different concept, according to your definition, even the great Kubrick could be considered as a part of Hollywood. I love British movies and other Europeans, but I also admit the value of Hollywood
                        • Sure, I love many of the Hollywood movies too, like Casablanca, Bring up Baby, Sound of Music, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Pulp Fiction, Fargo, Indiana Jones, all those cartoons, ....too many.
      • 最搞笑的是<Incredibles>DVD版中的bonus feature, 小(super) baby 在家与babysitter玩, 一不高兴就把一个小球变成火球了, 每当火起时就响起mozart的<安魂曲>. :)
        • :D
